Steroid Injections

Steroid injection can improve the outlook of the surface. But severe sideffect can ouccur - Sunken skins

Energy Based Lasers

Puls laser and high pitch lasers can ease scars without damaging outer surface of the skin. May need repeat treatment because outcomes are not so clear

Dermabrasion

For severe scars. Sergeon can use fast rotating brush or other device to remove top layer of skin. Surface scars could be eliminated permenantly. Additional scars or discoloration could ouccur

Chemical dermabrasion

Chemical solution can be applied on scar to remove top layer of skin and minimize deeper scars. Moderate and intermediate dermabrasion could be repeated to sustain the results. One can have only one deep layer. Potential risk: discoloration, deep filling on the dark skin

Skin Needles

Rotates needled device on the scar surface to stimulate colagen formation in deeper tissues. Simple and effective techinique for acne scars. Minor discoloration risk. May need repeat treatment because outcomes are not so clear

Botox

When skins near acne scar concave, botox injection which relaxes effected area can ease it. Results are temporary so repeated injections are unaviodable.
